Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

This unabridged text is stylistically reflective of the peculiarity of Wonderland. To develop this sense of oddness, I decided to keep the typesetting traditional to contrast my fanciful illustrations.

Mad Hatter's Tea Party illustration - spread 1   The illustrations invade the page over a series of spreads. They emerge and grow gradually, mimicking a flipbook animation. The flow of the type around the illustrations also suggests an invasion into the realm of the text.

Contents   The book is typeset in Cochin and perfect bound. I chose Cochin for its readability, for its flowing italic, and for its lyrical, slightly girish quality.
